NT Wright Asks What is the Gospel but Misses a Big Part of It.

This goes to the part  that I am being  block by some  blogs so this is more  responsible  to  a video first posted on Titus One Nine  In   where Mr Wright tries to answer what is the Gospel but miss misses a major component when he explains the Gospel as   the good news of Christ kingdom but misses Christ dying for  our sin.

Some time ago some there was a typical evangelistic sign “Jesus is the answer”; I suspect some scoffer replied:  then what is the question? In the same way the video says in a way, Jesus saves, but then the question needs to be asked from what? Mr. Wright come close ( but no cigar) 10 minutes and 50 seconds into  the video. The Gospel is what Christ has done. Christ has died for our sins according to the scripture and was resurrected for our salvation according to the scripture. 1 Cor 15.

He seems to skirt around salvation. For example he encourages the person if one need read the Gospel to start with Romans 1: 3-4 but s skips the key to Romans and the Gospel in verse 16.

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

We cannot explain the Gospel without explaining we are dead in sins and trespasses deserving of God’s wrath, yet God in has mercy sent Christ who died for our sin, turning God wrath and clothed is in his righteousness.  Without the cross, Christ death for sin, his kingdom, salvation, repentance and good works he  has prepared for us to do , becomes almost meaningless.
