Dear Mr. Obama,
You are not my parent and I am not an abandoned hapless child, I am on my own. What you had missed about being on my own is: I take responsibility for my own actions and provide for my own welfare instead of demanding others to provide for my own welfare. I was unemployed and had no health care I did not whine to government
It was very hard for me not to miss your campaigning against George Bush. . There is one problem, Bush is not running for reelection.. Your ideas are admirable like giving all American the same health choices as congress, and winning the war in Iraq .Both are espoused by Republicans and opposed by your party not long ago.
Finally you quoted scripture. “hold firmly, without wavering, to the hope that we confess”. Please let me give the verse in its context:
Hebrews 10:19 through Hebrews 10:26 (NKJV)
19Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
The hope spoken here is not in you or the Democratic Party but in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, goodbye and Good Luck Mr. Obama .
Richard
