2008 was not a good year.
2008 started with an out of control primary system. For the most part I felt McCain won because other candidates like Thompson and Giuliani did their best to shoot themselves in the foot with a help from conservatives leaving McCain to take the straight taking express to defeat.
For conservatives it the year they drove the party off the cliff thanks to Rush and rest of the bombastic clowns on Talk radio. It amazes me it not jut liberals who live in their own little world. Many conservative do especially over restrictionist immigration policies. Every Republican who ran as a restrictionist lost the election yet it is there conservative still think immigration is winning issue.
The there is the mortgage meltdown caused by the democrats, and it looks like the me get away from the blame. Sara Palin still being attack after the lost..
2009 looks like a challenging year, Obama could become the Next JFK or worst than Clinton. I might experience my first economic depression: great timing to lose my job.
