It’s a quickie. I did not have time to breakout my nib pen set and do Stippling.
I wanted to experiment using pen and ink with watercolor wash in creating of anthro characters. At our fur meets, dragons seem to be our main art theme hence using a Chinese dragon.
Right now it is a good time to discus how I approach fury art. A big pet peeve, bigger that eroticism, is how cookie cutter anthropomorphic art, from a vixen in a bikini, 20 something with rock hard abs, shirtless in a homo-erotic pose to toony badge art. It is something I wish to avoid.
For example, in looking at my own fursona, I draw with larger but more human look eyes by positioning them more bear like with them closer to closer to the head.
